Asphyx says:

The symbol of war for me has always been the figure of a lone man standing against a large metal monster called a tank. Civilization wanders in a circle and is once again in disintegration. The stupidity of the human herd wins over reason. We worship the philosophy of violence, and it does not matter on which side we stand. War is imprisoned in each of us!

British death metallers are here again this year to convince us as old dudes that honesty and sincerity on this style often win over perfection. MEMORIAM relies on what they know best. To a simple, striking mix of sharp riffs with punk feeling and cool treasure. Classic equation: BOLT THROWER + BENEDICTION + OBITUARY = MEMORIAM works great again. The album is also adorning the amazing cover (Dan Seagrave) as well as a grey sound.

The old dog does not learn new pieces and it's just fine. I might have comments on the occasional excessive length of songs or perhaps a slightly weaker vocal, but these are just a few things that do not interfere with anything, rather they make it more original. Yes, today's young listener does not even talk about this music - he is used to brightened production and technical equilibrium, but he is not even intended for it. MEMORIAM has recorded an album that breaks the wall in a classic, traditional way - gradually, crazily, melodically. It only takes time, then its strength will come to the surface with unprecedented strenuousness. Suddenly you really stand against the thrown-up death metal tank that is spreading all human hatred. It breaks your bones, evokes nostalgic memories, it becomes magical sparks. Yes friends, this is real old school death metal, played by the masters in the field. War, death, cold! Great album!
