"Death In Pieces" je starým smrtícím kovem té nejvyšší kvality.

Asphyx says:

It hasn't been that long since I buried CENTINEX. Although I am a big fan and supporter of their old records, these last albums did not appeal to me so much. However, on the new record, Martin Schulman completely changed the lineup. I was curious about what would come out of the band. Surely, the changes in the position of vocals and drums are very fundamental. However, I think it works out great. The new record represents exactly the type of death metal that immediately re-arranges all the bones in your body. In addition, the listening is great even after a long time.

"Death In Pieces" is old death metal of the highest quality. You can find here real, pure cuts, but also dark and cold moments. From the songs you can feel that the band really enjoys playing, that they believe to what they threw before us. So if you grew up similarly like me in the 1990s, don't hesitate and put it into your head under pressure.

The first thing that literally hits you in the face is the sound (Ronnie Björnström - mastering, mixing, Johan Hjelm - producer, recording), which is organic, vital and bestial. In short, you feel that the album was recorded by humans and not by machines, as is often case today. I don't know who was involved in composing the riffs, but they are great - they have a heavy effect, they cut and bite. I can remember them, they get under my skin. The great skeleton on the cover made by Bahrull Marta is just an extra bonus for all collectors of physical media. CENTINEX have shown this year that they definitely don’t belong to scrap metal. On the contrary, they kicked everyone's asses. I'm one of the fans of death metal, who bases on vocals and Henrik Andersson yells at me as if he was getting up from an old tomb in the morning. "Death In Pieces" is a record that doesn’t discover any new things that do not appear previously. Nor they don’t break the boundaries, but for me it means a return to bloody roots. The tombs are desecrated, the coffins are hacked, and a cold wind blows in the morgue. Old experienced dogs gathered here. They know what real death is. And they presented us the songs as sharp as the razor. The new album will unbone you, tear your tendons from your joints, destroy you. And that is right. The demons have awakened!
